Silhouettes done using a program called Alchemy

Then for Patience to start with I was thinking of doing some kind of Ent / tree character, as a tree was the most patient living thing i could think of. As some seeds can wait up to a hundred years waiting for the correct conditions to grow, and when they start they can grow to be hundreds of years old, an oak tree for example.

Another idea I had to personify patience was to design a rusty knight, like a guardian patiently waiting for something. Perhaps his next quest or a lover, or maybe guarding something till the end of time.

Then I found that others had already done Ent/ tree characters, so decided to merge my two ideas together to make a knight who has been patiently waiting for so long that he has become one with the forest around him. The way I imagine it is like a forest version of bootstrap bill from pirates of the Caribbean.

Then I had an idea for diligence, either using wasps or ants in some way as they seem like very diligent creatures. But Im pretty sure this idea was already being used by another class member. Then I thought instead of an ant type person to do a miner, as they seem similar in a way. Perhaps a sci-fi themed miner who has to mine ore from an astroid. I feel that the space suit could be pretty cool but am unsure how clear the message of Diligence would be conveyed.

My first idea was to do a cyborg type woman who personified Chastity. I was thinking along the lines of something like the pre-cogs out of minority report. I feel that they personified chastity well as they embodied Purity, knowledge, honesty, and wisdom. Purity as they lived they're life quarantined within the pre-cog pool shown below. Honesty as they were unable to lie and knowledge and wisdom as they were constantly hooked up to the entire world via cameras and internet.

Ive narrowed it down to these three virtues, but I am finding it hard to pick which one to use to personify in my character.

Plate 1 of classical virtues: Diligence. She is holding a whip and spurs, signifying a drive to steadfastly move forward with one's means.
Diligence is steadfast application, assiduousness and industry; the virtue of hard work. It is one of the seven heavenly virtues. Diligent behaviour is indicative of a work ethic; a belief that work is good in itself.
A zealous and careful nature in one's actions and work; decisive work ethic, steadfastness in belief, fortitude, and the capability of not giving up. Budgeting one's time; monitoring one's own activities to guard against laziness. Upholding one's convictions at all times, especially when no one else is watching (integrity).

Patience (or forbearing) is the state of endurance under difficult circumstances, which can mean persevering in the face of delay or provocation without acting on annoyance/anger in a negative way; or exhibiting forbearance when under strain, especially when faced with longer-term difficulties. Patience is the level of endurance one can take before negativity. It is also used to refer to the character trait of being steadfast. Antonyms include hastiness and impetuousness.
It is Forbearance and endurance through moderation. Resolving conflicts and injustice peacefully, as opposed to resorting to violence. Accepting the grace to forgive to show mercy to sinners. Creating a sense of peaceful stability and community rather than suffering, hostility, and antagonism.

Chastity is sexual behaviour of a man or woman that is acceptable to the moral standards and guidelines of their culture, civilisation or religion. In the Western world, the term has become closely associated (and is often used interchangeably) with sexual abstinence, especially before marriage.
Abstaining from sexual conduct according to one's state in life; the practice of courtly love and romantic friendship. Cleanliness through cultivated good health and hygiene, and maintained by refraining from intoxicants. To be honest with oneself, one's family, one's friends, and to all of humanity. Embracing of moral wholesomeness and achieving purity of thought-through education and betterment. The ability to refrain from being distracted and influenced by hostilitytemptation or corruption.

Your concept design must portray one of the (above) seven virtues as a character.
Beyond the chosen virtue, the character can exist in any time, space and artistic style.
Consider the context and environment in which they exist - how does that impact on their
physiognomy, appearance, faculty, philosophy, belief and resolve? Are they humanoid, quadruped, mammal, fish, invertebrate or other?
How can you best use form, colour, clothing or other paraphernalia to visualise and personify and communicate the virtue as a character?
The character must convey the chosen virtue above all other considerations.

This is my Z-ball cyclops.
This is my Z-ball spider.
This is my Z-brush Angel thingy. To the right you can see I have increased the number of divisions.
This is my Z-brush Stallion.
And this is my favorite Z-ball creation, an Octopus. Unfortunately due to an excess of Z-balls my computer couldn't handle giving it a skin. After a few lessons learning about using Z-balls we were asked to create five basic Z-ball creatures, Above are mine.
One of my first attempts in Z-brush, I was trying to sculpt a character described in a Darren Shan Book. The character is a demon child, who looks like a dead child with no eyes and a gaping bloody maw of a mouth full of sharp teeth. For a first attempt I think it went pretty well but I started to run out of polygons. I experimented more in Z-brush but this is the first saved thing.
