I looked through quite a lot of pictures of elderly men. I found this one was the best suited to what I had in my head, an old grey, hardened by war nomad. I used photoshop to give this guy back his other eye and then I experimented with what my favourite helm concept looked like on him. I really like the look of it, although I should of probably shown the whole helm.
